**About Us**:
The BC Early Childhood Pedagogy Network (ECPN) is a public forum for the advancement of early childhood pedagogies and the establishment of an accessible provincial network of pedagogists to support early childhood educators in British Columbia.

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the ECPN Directors and Project Manager, and working closely with other ECPN staff, the eLearning & Knowledge Mobilization Specialist will develop, collect, and disseminate a range of creative knowledge mobilization products, tools and resources. The role will support the design and implementation of a knowledge mobilization strategy for the ECPN to disseminate information about the research. The role will also leverage multiple communication channels and modalities for outreach, dissemination, and implementation activities, and be responsible for coordinating ECPN website operations and other social media presences.

The role will also be responsible for coordinating the introduction and continuous improvement of eLearning experiences offered through the ECPN. The role will consult with staff to translate and transform programs, resources, and supports offered across the portfolio into effective and engaging digital courses. The role will research and identify best practices in learning technologies, UDL, and learner engagement, and support the design and re-design, development, and implementation of online and blended learning experiences.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Undergraduate Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology or related field
- Courses completed in Adult Education
- Master of Education is preferred

**Experience**:

- 3 years’ experience in a related academic research environment, creating knowledge mobilization and eLearning materials
- Experience developing knowledge products such as infographics, toolkits, newsletters, factsheets and report summaries
- Experience supporting research and knowledge mobilization projects related to early learning and childcare

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with regulations and guidelines governing research in an academic environment
- Knowledge of established and emerging methods of Knowledge Mobilization
- Knowledge of the educational literature, including online learning and instructional design (e.g., theories, models, best practices)
- Demonstrated knowledge of eLearning principles, strategies and tools and instructional design methods to deliver instructional programs and courses suited to an online learning environment
- Ability to work in a manner that models best practices in confidentiality standards
- Ability to provide solutions and ideas for improvement by using imaginative approaches where constructive thinking and innovation are required
- Detail-oriented with an ability to function and process information with high levels of accuracy
- Ability to investigate defined issues, solicit input, and suggest remedies and alternative approaches that meet the needs of the situation
- Proven ability and natural inclination to develop relationships by interacting with people in a professional, respectful and diplomatic manner
- Ability to interpret and identify key results from research and to succinctly summarize research findings
- Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of the team to achieve project and ECPN goals
- Demonstrated ability to research/investigate issues and resolve problems
