Qualifications:
Essential:

- Post secondary degree in social services preferred, business or other related fields will be considered. Business and/or administrative training and extensive work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education/training with related experience may be considered.
- Supervisory experience including managing staff and providing direction and leadership to a service delivery team.
- Experience establishing and maintaining effective relationships with the public, officials of government, internal and external stakeholders, as well as subordinate employees.
- Experience handling sensitive material in a confidential and professional manner.
- Ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy in a fast paced environment.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Effective written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and with external collaterals.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Desired:

- Experience with sales of other basic financial processes.

**Duties**:
Under the supervision of the Manager, Provincial Abuse Registries, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating and providing administrative and complex clerical support to assist in the regular maintenance of the Child Abuse Registry (CAR) and the Adult Abuse Registry (AAR). This includes completing and quality assuring pre-registration work, which supports the entering of names on the confidential and regulated registry. The incumbent oversees the daily operations of the CAR and AAR units including specialized processes such as: processing of CAR and AAR checks, intake functions, financial over-sight, and all other related tasks.

The incumbent provides supervision to 7 Data Entry Clerks and 2 cashiers. Daily supervision as well as all human resource/performance management issues are the responsibility of the Associate Registrar.
