- Global Trade Finance Operations International processing hub is in Montreal with spoke locations in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Houston and Singapore. - Ability to execute on ad-hoc non-routine requests
- Identifies and investigates non-standard operational / reporting / process issues
- Provides recommendations or escalates issues to appropriate area
- Provides regular analysis and/or reporting to support business partners, functional areas or centers of expertise
- Requires working professional level knowledge of the functional area and/or business areas supported
- Experienced level of complexity in operational / reporting / process and/or analysis function requiring a short to medium term focus
- Operate as a working lead on initiatives as assigned
- Provide training to others on best practices, processes, etc. as well as guide staff for the completion of business as usual functions
- Represent the team as the first point of escalation for customers/internal clients/business partners
- Build and foster effective mutually beneficial relations with clients, Operations, Origination teams, and other key internal partners that provide critical support to the execution of Trade Finance Operations priorities.
- Analyze service delivery issues and identify potential solutions that enhance the customer experience and support TD Securities business objectives. Manage time sensitive inquiries and escalations from clients, internal partners and other key support partners related to service, performance, compliance and other risk related issues.
- Provide support during system implementations of new processes, changes and/or technology that address production gaps
- Support change management projects or programs that impact the business, functions or processes and ensure clear communication and documentation of new processes
- Produce consolidated or aggregated baseline reports and provide accurate and thorough analysis on related data to provide insight to Operations and Executives
- Protect the interests of the organization - identify and manage risks and escalate non-standard activities as appropriate
- Refer or escalate processing or operational issues as needed based on a solid understanding of the issue, connecting with the appropriate function/partner to facilitate resolutions and ensure that service quality is maintained
- Participate, facilitate and lead meetings and discussions with key internal stakeholders, including GTB executives, Origination, Product Team and Operations
- Act as a challenge and change agent, identifying and driving improvements/efficiencies through understanding and dissecting end to end processes
- Requires to be available during some Canadian Statutory Holidays on rotational basis in order to cover our multiple province holidays, US & UK business.
- Hybrid role currently minimum 2 days per week in the office.

**Job Requirements**
- 7 + Years of Trade Finance Operations Experience preferably with a Financial Institution is required for this role.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, International Business or other related Discipline
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact at all levels coupled with a passion to build strong working relationships
