**PRIMARY FUNCTION**

The Leadership & Talent Development Coordinator works to support excellence in the employee experience and maintains a customer service focus across all touch points of the employee life cycle. The focus of this role is the administration of our robust learning management system, including the assignment, maintenance, and report generation of over 300 OnDemand learning modules. This role is the quality control arm of the learning experience and assesses courses against set standards of learning design. The Coordinator’s tasks will span the breadth of department initiatives and could be expected to also include tasks related to team intranet updates, supporting employee experience survey processes, and cross-coverage into the administration of our recognition programs.

**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES INCLUDE**:

- Completes tasks associated with the on-going administration of the learning management system(s).
- Uploads and sets up systems for course assignments, evaluations and content to the learning management system.
- Monitors usage and performance of the learning management system.
- Troubleshoots and addresses issues.
- Provides learning management system customer service support to users and administrative support.
- Ensures all eLearning courses meet quality standards by completing our QA process and assessment
- Supports the leadership strategy - update leader toolkit, department intranet and publish the Leadership Exchange newsletter (web-based)
- Coordinates major programs in support of the employee experience:

- Support the team engagement plan process (track and report).
- Support employee engagement survey processes.
- Tracking of leader onboarding processes.
- Works collaboratively with team members for performance development initiatives, leadership programs, and learning opportunities to support the achievement of required outcomes.
- Develops and maintains reports on initiatives for corporate, departmental, surveys and required reporting.
- Develops support tools for leaders and the management team.
- Completes administrative tasks required to support leadership, team, department and specific initiatives including setting up meetings, photocopying, filing and records management.
- Presents initiatives to staff, leaders, and others in the organization.
- Provides recommendations in the on-going development of leadership orientation initiatives

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management or related field of study.
- 3-year diploma with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Certification in learning administration and/or adult education or equivalent is desirable.
- Excellent teamwork, collaboration, verbal and written communication skills (including the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms)
- Project and time management skills essential
- Organizational and administrative skills at a high and independent level
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and analysis skills required
- Customer service focus with a positive presence is essential
- Demonstrated experience presenting, facilitating or teaching groups.
- Ability to work with all levels of management and staff
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible, adaptable, curious, and comfort with ambiguity and brings a change mindset.
- Demonstrated advanced listening skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work appropriately in an environment where they may be privy to confidential and sensitive information.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Progressive thinker with creativity and open to new perspectives, emerging technologies and processes.
- Demonstrated presentation skills.
- Has working knowledge of eLearning authoring tools primarily for QA purposes preferred.
- Has working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, at an advanced level) and SAP
- Proven ability to attend work regularly.
- Satisfactory criminal reference check and vulnerable sector search required.
