Being a Lead Hand at Salisbury Landscaping isn’t just about reporting to the Landscaping Manager or being responsible for assisting the Foreman(s) along with the rest of the crew installing beautifully designed projects.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist and support the Foreman in completing the project
- Collaborate with Landscape Forman to ensure projects are executed according to plan, budgets and timelines
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets established quality standards and meets landscaping best practices
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures
- Assist in the training of crew and new team members
- Manage and oversee responsibilities in the absence of the Foreman
- Communicate with the Foreman on the progression of landscape projects
- Assist in troubleshooting when issues arise
- Assist in daily planning/ next day requirements.
- Able to maintain and operate machinery on site

**Qualifications**
- 2 years of Landscape or Construction Lead experience
- Valid Drivers licence
- Able to read and interpret landscape plans
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead and delegate tasks
- Knowledge of proper installation of landscape projects
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills

**Salary**: $19.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sherwood Park, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Landscape Construction: 2 years (preferred)
