**About the Role**:
As an HR Business Partner at Plooto, you will be pivotal in shaping our company culture and supporting our employees throughout various stages of growth. This generalist role encompasses a broad range of HR functions, including HRIS administration, employee relations, performance management, talent development, and strategic HR initiatives. You will work closely with executive leadership and people managers to ensure that our HR strategies align with business objectives, foster employee engagement, and build an inclusive, high-performing workplace. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional adept at managing multiple HR projects and contributing to both strategic and operational HR efforts.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Employee Relations**: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations issues.
- **Performance Management**: Assist in the design and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
- **Talent Development**: Support the development and execution of learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth within the company.
- **HR Analytics**: Utilize HR data to provide data informed insights and recommendations to leadership on trends, challenges, and opportunities within the workforce.
- **HRIS Administration**: Manage and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy, processing employee changes, generating reports, and optimizing system functionality to meet organizational needs.
- **HR Strategy**: Partner with Chief People Officer to execute HR strategies that align with business goals, including workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational development.
- **Compensation & Benefits**: Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and alignment with company strategy.
- **Diversity, Equity & Inclusion**: Contribute to DEI initiatives and help foster a diverse, inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and supported.
- **HR Compliance**: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and assist in maintaining accurate employee records. Partner to develop HR related policies.
- **Culture & Engagement**: Partner to drive a positive and engaging company culture by supporting employee engagement initiatives and communications.
- **Onboarding & Offboarding**: Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to support talent attraction efforts and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires. Manage the offboarding process to ensure smooth transition for any exits from the company.
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist/ HRBP role, preferably in a fast-paced startup or tech environment.
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Skills**:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with employees at all levels.
- Experience with HRIS systems and familiarity with HR analytics.
- Familiarity with employment laws and best practices.
- Experience with the design and implementation of employee development initiatives.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead HR projects and initiatives.
- Experience with employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work culture.
