You’ll participate in a comprehensive admissions training program and be given the tools and resources to **ensure your success in a culture that encourages problem solving and rewards top performers.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in instructor led orientation of new students online and/or by phone
- Deliver instruction that meets module and program objectives, as set out in the curriculum either
- face-to-face and/or online settings
- Participate in the evaluation of curriculum and instructional materials
- Prepare course outlines and teaching materials
- Evaluate student progress; generate, administer and mark student coursework and exams
- Monitor and discuss students’ progress at both an individual and group level
- Assign and post grades
- Hold consultations with weaker students to enhance learning
- Address attendance issues or other problems as they arise
- Adhere to the approved Student Management Policy
- All other duties as assigned by the College

- Relevant industry skills and knowledge relating to the area of instruction, including ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.

- Ability to work cooperatively with other instructors and staff.
- Learn and use technology to enhance the student learning experience.

**Required Education / Experience**:

- At least 3 years of field experience as a Medical Office Assistant (or equivalent experience)
- Medical Office Assistant with Unit Clerk Diploma (or equivalent education)
- Strong computer skills
- Teaching experience is an asset
