Production Planner

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate production workflow for multiple products
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
- Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports
- Keep paperwork organized
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff
- Ensure optimum inventory levels and verify inventory
- Liaison with Engineering/Quality/Inventory departments to communicate and coordinate activities that impact production
- Interface with all other functional groups to plan and prioritize production activities & AMO support
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations within a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Experience in MRP (Manufacturing resource planning)
- Proficiency in using production planning software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Good at math and statistics
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year
