**Role**

The Human Resources Administrator is a fundamental member to the Human Resources team who provides support for the daily operational tasks, acts as first point of contact for general HR inquires from all levels of employees across the organization and maintains confidential data. This role requires the incumbent to have a keen eye for detail, be highly organized, be skilled at multi-tasking and prioritization and possess a strong level of computing skills.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**HR Data & Administration**
- Enter and maintain all data pertinent to the Human Resources department
- Processes system and payroll updates for staff salary increases; liaise with payroll administrator to ensure all payroll data is submitted on time and accurately
- Collaborate with benefits administrators to provide new/updated employee information
- Maintain all employee and contractor files while ensuring confidentiality is kept
- Assign new hire compliance trainings and liaise with the Compliance department to track completion
- Update all HR related internal content on SharePoint

**Reporting**
- Provide various routine reports weekly, monthly and quarterly to multiple stakeholders
- Produce ad hoc reports as requested in Microsoft Excel or PowerPoint
- Present research results to management when engaged in contribution to special projects or initiatives

**Employee Lifecycle**
- Create new hires profiles and manage the employee lifecycle in the WFM system, Ceridian Dayforce
- Process pre-employment checks via third-party vendor, track status and follow up
- Draft employment contracts, coordinate the signing process, manage new hire documentation, keep track of checklists, create onboarding plans and collaborate with the IT department
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and offboarding, orientations and benefits sessions

**Support and Service**
- Prepare employment verification letters, all types of status change letters and service awards letters
- Support employee recognition programs and educational assistance
- Provide exceptional support to the HR team and all business stakeholders
- Prepare memos for staff vacation entitlements, years of service letters and awards
- Maintain the HR shared mailbox, respond to general inquiries and escalate when needed
- Draft town hall presentations and HR communications
- Support employees’ events/activities including but not limited to logistic and plan rollout etc
- Identify service improvement area as needed and suggest ways for improvement
- All other ad hoc duties as assigned as related to this role

**Qualifications / Skills and Experience**
- Postsecondary education preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration
- Completion or working towards CHRP designation considered an asset
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience required
- Fluency in French is considered an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience using Ceridian Dayforce considered a strong asset
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong customer service and professionalism
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Posses a strong attention to detail
