The Donor Relations Associate is responsible for supporting revenue generation and rallying human capital on behalf of UWCA for a portfolio of workplace, small business, and individual donors.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

In this exciting role, you will collaborate with the Donor Relationship Manager to support the development and execution of our annual fundraising campaign, and act as a key point of contact for a variety of donors. Reporting to the CEO, this role will also work closely with all staff and volunteers at UWCA to build and grow relationships through engagement strategies and connecting with donors.

This role will include the responsibility of building and maintaining donor relationships, supporting the development and execution of fundraising strategies, supporting workplace campaigns and volunteer opportunities, staff lead for volunteer committee(s), as well as conducting donor research, tracking and reporting progress. You will oversee and support various campaign activities including coordinating or executing material drop off and pick ups; supporting and attend events as required; conduct thank you and retention communications and additional campaign support as needed.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- + Two Years of relevant relationship management experience
- Proficiency with MS Office (we use cloud-based Office 365)
- Experience in managing volunteers is an asset
- Knowledge of charitable and/or social sector and fundraising practices an asset
- Experience in Adobe CC and WordPress is an asset

**WORKING CONDITIONS**

We collaborate in a small office environment with an open desk concept. This role will require lengthy times sitting at a desk and working on a screen. Our office has open frontage for easy client access and interaction. Although this role is primarily in office, our work environment is hybrid - with time spent both collaborating in the office as well as remotely.

Lifting is mínimal and limited to office resources, basic need donation drives, stationery, etc.

**OTHER**
- The salary *range for this role is $29,700 - $41,700 for a 0.60 FTE position or 21 hours per week. *(Starting salary based on experience and budgetary considerations.)
- Flexible work hours and/or extra hours will be required for event and campaign support.
- Employee will have a successful Criminal Check.
