TFS currently has an exciting opportunity as the Dealer Relations Manager reporting to the **Regional Manager** in the **Dealer Services **department. This is a **full-time permanent **position. As we are hiring for multiple positions, the position may reside in either our Markham Head Office or one of TFS’ Branch Offices (Western, Montreal and Halifax branches).

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Promote additional volume with existing dealer accounts by reviewing current business and developing action plans for increasing originations volume through a sales consultative approach.
- Drive TFS business by influencing the General Manager, Dealer Principal, and Dealers to recommend TFS retail loans/leases, sell F&I products, and manage the full sales cycle for wholesale loans.
- Partner with Regional Manager to determine go-to-market strategy for dealers within territory; discuss progress during weekly check-ins.
- Conduct consistent business reviews with sales team (up to Regional Manager level) and with dealer principal, business owner or responsible executive to understand business need, strategic goals, and performance for dealerships. Use tracking and analytics to monitor sales objectives against sales forecasts by dealer and by territory.
- Identify and pursue opportunities from dealers and sales team members to meet dealer needs while trying to increase TFS profitability.
- Actively promote and maintain TFS wholesale inventory financing program through strong relationship building with dealers, presenting the TFS value story and supporting Dealer Credit with inquiries to acquire new accounts.
- Prepare and conduct effective training and sales meetings to increase retail lease, loan and F&I product volumes.
- Understand and explain F&I sales techniques including handling objections, product features and benefits, step selling, menu-based selling.
- Assist head office operations in resolving dealer related items.
- Support and train dealers on submitting claims and leveraging F&I products to enable strong customer retention.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- University degree in a business-related field.
- 5-10 years of sales experience in financial services with a focus on promoting products and services is required. Automotive financing/captive finance experience is preferred.
- Understanding of automotive finance business and dealership financial services and products and operations, with focus on sales, finance, and insurance.
- Proven record of increasing overall sales through a consultative, results-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of wholesale financing is preferred.
- Superior relationship building and communication skills.
- Ability to articulate value of TFS products and services, conduct sales calls, identify/close business opportunities.
- Demonstrated leadership and consultative selling skills
- Proactive and innovative with a strong sense of ownership and perseverance to overcome challenges.
- Ability to influence change by using critical thinking to problem-solve and present overall TFS value proposition.
- Work independently and collaboratively with a team-oriented approach, customer centric focus and strong self-organization.
- Experience in delivering effective training sessions in promoting overall growth of TFS products.
- Effective presentation and public speaking skills.
- Superior software skills including Excel, Power Point, Word.
- Flexibility for extended overnight and local travel required - a majority of the responsibilities will be spent visiting and training at dealerships.
- Valid Driver’s license is required.
