**Job Description**:
Reporting directly to the Director of Access and Flow, Admitting and Registration, Staffing Scheduling Services, and Infection Prevention and Control, the manager for Corporate Admitting and Registration is a key member of the leadership team. Leading a team of passionate team members, the manager is responsible in supporting day to day operations as well as supporting clinical expansion and creation, system testing, training resources as well as developing and informing corporate admitting/registration best practices standards.

Accountabilities:

- Promotes a collaborative and respectful working environment
- Recruits, mentors and coaches staff performance as determined by human resource policies, union agreements, legislation and standards of practice
- Fosters an engaged, high-performing team, seeking and implementing opportunities for improvement
- Develops and implements the operational and program strategic plans and/or initiatives in collaboration with the program leadership team
- Champions change, and identifies areas for improvements, securing resources and implements efficient processes/structure required for effective operations
- Cultivates a climate of continuous improvement to help support innovation in patient admitting and registration
- Evaluates data and provides feedback to the team on findings to drive timely delivery of exceptional services
- Develops, monitors, controls and evaluates budgets and staffing plans, with support from business and financial partners
- Facilitates staff huddles and chairs team meetings as well as attends other internal/external meetings as appropriate
- Participates and helps to inform William Osler Health Systems redevelopment initiatives
- Participates in corporate projects involving the registration/admitting functions or processes, actively participate in system testing when related to the registration/admitting function or process ensuring patient information flows correctly from one system to the next
- Performance Management - ensure registration quality targets are set and clearly communicated to all registration staff within Corporate Registration and/or Clinical Care Managers having registration staff reporting to them
- Monitor and provide guidance when required with Net Delivery process, develop ongoing plan to ensure provider dictionary it kept up to date using information from CPSO, ongoing communication with physician lead and IT System Analyst
- Facilitates an environment which supports creativity and innovation in service delivery

**Qualifications**:

- Undergraduate degree required
- Knowledge of MOHLTC guidelines and reporting
- 2-3 Years of Registration/admitting experience
- 1-2 Years of Supervisory experience
- 2-3 years of EMR/HIS system experience
- Demonstrated ability to establish and foster strong and positive partnerships
- Demonstrated leadership, planning and project management skills
- Strong problem solving and change management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated team player
- Established reputation as a consultative, collaborative leader
- Evidence of collaboration across multiple disciplines/divisions/programs/services
- Customer service oriented
