Our Operations IIROC team is currently growing We’re seeking an Advisor Services Specialist - someone who will support in managing all capital requirements, reporting to finance and coordinating closings with clearing Dealers/Issuers. This role performs daily review of accounts, concentration of account situations and short sales. The role is responsible for banking, certificate deposits, cancellation and correction of trades and managing general ledger. Duties also include verifying and managing RSP and loan products within Securities and responsible for keeping proper books and records pertaining to each deal.

**What is the role of the Advisor Services Specialist?**:

- Review concentration report to ensure limit is not exceeded and is within IPCS policy.
- Report debits daily from Cash Margin RRSP and Inventories related to New Issues.
- Verify the concentration and debits with reports received from NBCN. Verify the reports through ISM and process on a daily credit review for Finance review.
- Provide daily AUM and credit reporting.
- Receive requests from I.A. to have fees reversed/interest cancelled, review and book according to error/loss.
- Balance all entries daily for monthly balance and process approved write off requests.
- Forward spreadsheet to NBCN to have the entries adjusted and reported on our monthly control account for Finance review.
- Manage daily deposits and EFT In approvals.
- Assist the auditors with the required figures according to Securities Rules and Regulations, provide proper documentation of the control of the debits and concentration in the client accounts.
- Receive cxl and correct from compliance submit to IMOST and enter correction.
- Complete trade cancellations and corrections daily to alleviate any loss.
- Ticketing orders for IPC clients.
- Opening and ticketing deal accounts on closing with clearing dealers.
- Confirm cash/margin in accounts and liaise with Credit team to proceed with orders.
- Track orders by deal and by advisor.
- Handle advisor/assistants’ queries on details of offering structure and order process.
- Track business by advisor and offerings in order to assist in future business development activities.
- Participate in the annual Trustee fee distribution and processing.
- Assist with vault count, commission rebates and process fee reimbursements for Private Wealth offering.
- Review account debits and complete the selloff process.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.

**What are the preferred qualifications for an Advisor Services Specialist?**
- Post-secondary education in Business or related discipline
- Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience within an operations environment, working with the IIROC platform
- Knowledge of IIROC trading and banking procedures/processes
- Completion of CSC is an asset
- Must be extremely proficient at using the Microsoft Office suite of products, mainly MS Word and Excel
