Technical Sales Manager

The Technical Sales Manager will report to the Director of Technical Sales and oversee Technical Sales Leads and Representatives and their work scheduling, job assignments, vacation schedules and conduct their performance evaluations.
**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Insure efficient and effective response to customer inquiries by working closely with other departments to develop a cohesive and cross-functional team.
2. Balance associate workload to minimize overtime.
3. Roll out new projects and processes in Tech Sales under the guidance of the Director.
4. Provide input and suggestions for continuous improvement of departmental procedures.
5. Work daily to ensure all TS personal that are salary non-exempt have times updated through day-force.
6. Conduct TS annual performance evaluations.
7. Provide back up to TS Director when Director is out of the office.
8. Review and assist with month end reports including monthly budget reports and all reports that are required for Corporate Month end reporting.
9. Other duties as assigned by the Director
**EXPERTISE REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
1. Four-year degree, preferred
2. 3+ year previous management experience in a customer facing environment
3. 3+ years progressive truck body experience is a plus
4. Excellent computer skills, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
5. AS400 experience is a plus
6. JDE/Oracle experience is a plus
7. Excellent phone and communication skills
8. Ability to work overtime on a continual basis
9. Strong follow-up and follow-through skills
