**The Opportunity (Toronto - Hybrid)**
As a Revenue Operations Analyst at Carbon6, your primary role will be in our Revenue Operations team. You will own our Performance Incentives - administering plans monthly, and being a core driver of changes and evolutions in our plans over time. You'll be the linchpin between sales, finance, and operations, ensuring that everyone is not just calculated but actually paid their due commissions. You’ll also be responsible for supporting our Revenue functions with their data asks - delivering timely insights & reporting to help the business make informed decisions.
If you're looking for a role where you can build, do, and advise all at once, this is it.
**Your Impact**:
- ** Support our Revenue Function**:Proactively identify where insights and analysis might be helpful as well as delivering on requests from stakeholders. Support ad hoc data and analytics needs of the revenue teams while optimizing for the future needs of the business.. Take an active, ownership role of building the best revenue operations function in the world.
- ** Data Analysis**:Analyze commission data to ensure accuracy and provide insights for policy adjustments. Initiate analyses linked to our goals for various roles at Carbon6, to inspire trust even in time-sensitive and imperfect data situations. Identify opportunities for the business through analysis of core Sales & Marketing data. Work closely with our finance team, data analytics team, and sales leadership team to complete analyses, drive insights, and understand unit economics of various compensation models.
- ** Reports & Dashboards**: Develop actionable dashboards for key stakeholders to measure performance & KPIs across our revenue functions. Keep all stakeholders in the loop with regular, clear, and concise reports on commission payouts. Design attainment monitoring vehicles for individual contributors and management teams in our CRM and our business insights tools. Build “scrappy” short-term reporting and data procurement solutions for high-priority data while long-term foundations are built
- ** Supporting your stakeholders**: Be a trusted partner to your internal stakeholders when it comes to understanding their needs, planning changes and improvements to compensation plans, and handling edge cases and queries about commissions payouts and calculations. Address and resolve any queries or issues related to data & commissions in a timely manner and in a way that consistently balances the needs of the business and our team.
- ** Performance Tracking**: Monitor and analyze sales team performance against quotas and commission structures to identify trends, forecast revenue, and support strategic decision-making.
- ** Drive Continuous Improvement**: Continuously evaluate and improve revenue operations processes, commission policies, and sales tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Look for ways to get 1% better in our systems every day. Help the revenue operations function build a roadmap for improvements that not only meets immediate organizational needs but also looks ahead to build the foundations we will need.
**Your Qualifications**:
- ** Technical Proficiency**:You're adept at Excel, capable of handling complex calculations and large data sets. You can quickly build workbooks that can scale and are built robustly and intuitively enough to be used by others. Experience with CRM systems and knowledge of SQL or BI tools is highly desirable.
- ** Remarkable Communication**:You have the ability to convey complex concepts and analyses in a clear, structured and compelling manner with tailored communication styles to effectively engage both executives, senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences
- ** Exceptional Organizational Skills**: Your organizational prowess enables you to manage multiple projects and priorities with ease. No detail escapes you. You are committed to precision, maintaining a clear and ordered workflow, ensuring nothing gets missed.
- ** Prioritization & Time Management**: You're adept at juggling multiple tasks, setting priorities, and managing your time effectively. You don’t need guidance on structuring your day and you can effectively assess and shuffle priorities on the fly. You can juggle anything and you have devised ways of keeping yourself organized and on pace without losing track of any of the details.
- ** Ability to Learn Quickly**:Adapt swiftly to new tools, technologies, and business processes. You absorb information like a sponge, putting newfound knowledge into action with lightning speed.
- ** Self-Starter**:You're driven, proactive, and always ready to get things done. You are autonomous, able to take initiative and drive projects without needing external motivation. You have an ownership mindset when it comes to your work.
- ** Service Mentality: Y**ou genuinely enjoy helping people and go the extra mile to resolve queries and issues. You have the ability to work effectively
