This position is a full-time position, working 9-5 pm, Monday through Friday (possibility of Saturday if wanted). Competitive compensation based on experience; extended benefits provided after a 3-month probationary period. **Job summary**:
As the front line of contact for a well-established developmental clinic, you have a friendly disposition and a can-do attitude. You ensure that the clinic is operating to our high standards of service and that clients feel welcome and respected. You can manage multiple demands and can work well as part of a team. You carry out your tasks with initiative and attention to detail and pride yourself on your organizational skills. You enjoy problem-solving, are proficient with computers, and carry out all your administrative duties with a smile.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the intake process for several clinicians.
- Provide information to families regarding psychological services such as psycho-educational assessments, autism assessments, counselling, social groups, speech language therapy and behaviour consultations.
- Scoring assessments protocols and data entry.
- Must maintain confidentiality with clients and staff and be able to handle sensitive information.
- Work alongside other administrative assistants and share and divide tasks as required.

**Education/experience**:

- 1+ years' experience in health/wellness administration
- Post-secondary diploma, or a combination of experience and education.

**Required skills**:

- Punctual and accountable
- Strong computer skills (Windows)
- Experience with scheduling and coordinating multiple schedules
- Ability to multitask and “think on your feet”
- Independent and a strong ability to work autonomously
- Flexible in a work environment that can range from casual to fast-paced
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of psychology/child development is an asset
- Knowledge of JANE Clinic Management software is an asset
- Typing minimum 45 wpm

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
