**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Health Services Director, Heart Health Program, the Health Services Manager is responsible for the planning and coordination of Heart Health Ambulatory Care and the daily operations of client-centred programs and services within and external to the Nova Scotia Health Authority. Essential components of this position include a high degree of expertise in decision making, creativity, interpersonal skills, professional development and informational roles to perform a wide variety of technical, human, conceptual, leadership and financial management functions and behaviours. This manager is responsible for all clinics within Cardiology/Cardiac and Vascular Surgery.
**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
- Master's degree an asset
- Must be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia
- Three to five years of clinical experience
- Previous leadership/management experience an asset
- Requires a high level of sound judgement, initiative, and self-direction
- Capable of analytical and creative decision making
- Demonstrates high degrees of independent decision making, self-direction, motivation, change management knowledge and team building/leadership skills
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
**Hours**:
- Permanent Full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
