**The Opportunity**

The Coordinator, Market Insights & Engagement is responsible for providing the administrative support to the Market Insights & Engagement team on a variety of research, engagement and partnership initiatives. This position also may provide backup administrative support services to the Product department as needed.

**Status: Casual Part-Time, Union**
**Number of Positions: 1**
**Pay Grade: 13 (starting at $33.94 per hour)**

**Location: Vancouver, BC (hybrid work environment)**

**Reports to: Leader, Market Insights & Engagement**

**As a Coordinator, you will**:

- Ensure that deliverables are achieved on time:

- Work with Industry Safety Partners to prepare agenda and materials for meetings as required;
- Record clear and accurate meeting minutes for all meetings;
- Process travel expense claims for all Advisory Group members;
- Follow-up on priorities outlined by the committee in collaboration with Technical Safety BC leaders;
- Ensure the loop of communication is closed on all issues of importance to stakeholders to maintain and enhance the organization’s reach and reputation; and
- Maintain clear and accurate files for all meetings and issues.
- Schedule stakeholder consultation processes, prepares, and distributes public consultation materials, records consultation meeting minutes, and maintains clear and accurate records of all actions taken at consultation meetings:

- Collation and retrieval of feedback received from stakeholders;
- Data synthesis and analysis;
- Build digital engagement pages; and
- Develop, implement, and update database management systems that supports the Stakeholder Engagement team in achieving its overall strategic objectives: Create infrastructure and assist with collation, retrieval and analysis of data relating to performance management of Stakeholder Engagement processes.
- Identify emerging trends and issues that may impact the organization and coordinate responses to industry stakeholders. Flag common themes and responses from database, monitor reports from stakeholders, and determine inaccuracies, points of note, trends, etc. Support with industry news analysis. Assist with the Market Insights & Engagement team budget and prepare cost estimates as required.
- Develop, implement and update database management systems that maintain clear and accurate records of all Recommendations for Amendment to regulations, so we ensure singular point of external communication and record.
- Assist with recruitment and selection of Technology Committee members; establish and maintain registry of Technology Committee and Ad hoc Issue Group members. Act as main point of contact for Technology Committee members around logistics of meetings and outcomes.
- Support across the Product team, as required, including but not limited to, with advisory group recruitment and meeting support with technology, documentation, and reporting.
- Assist the team with broadening relationships and work closely with the communications, marketing, and product teams to ensure stakeholder insights are understood and relevant responses and content are well distributed.
- Provide reporting administrative, and research support to the Market Insights and Engagement team to achieve both the individual and collective performance measures.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience you have**:

- Knowledge of techniques and principles of public consultation and issues management.
- Knowledge of regulatory environments.
- Experience managing sensitive issues with tact, diplomacy and good judgment.
- Ability to identify potential stakeholder concerns and work towards solutions.
- Ability to use good judgment and discretion when providing client groups with advice and support.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Experience recording and writing meeting minutes.
- Experience supporting staff at a management level.
- Ability to positively represent the organization in meetings and at events.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
- Ability to work independently under pressure with quickly changing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
- High degree of tact, diplomacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Superior interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of software, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
- A certificate or diploma in business or a related discipline supplemented by previous experience in a public participation, or stakeholder engagement or process development role; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Familiarity with SurveyMonkey, Confluence and Granicus is an asset.
