**Position Description**

This position starts out working in our beautiful Metchosin office as our on-site Admin Assistant & Bookkeeper. WFH potential with a demonstrated track record of success.
- **Our Admin Assistant / Bookkeeper** starts at $27 per hour and will be tasked with admin duties, receiving calls, supporting daily operations and providing finance support for billing, payroll and reporting.
- With demonstrated responsibility the position moves from onsite to a hybrid work-from-home position. Weekly office attendance should be expected for meetings, socialization and to support good working relationships.
- We are a high speed team that likes working with other high speed individuals who are intelligent, responsible and conscientious. The right individual will be given greater responsibility and pay. Wages go up each year and there are additional pay steps once demonstrating and then exceeding the position proficiency requirements.
- Proficiencies we are looking for include Timekeeping, Billing, Payroll, Reports, ID card printers and use of related software or spreadsheets. Please include the names of any software you have used and your spreadsheet proficiency. Must be detail oriented and able to learn.
- We grow 40% or more each year. We have a small team with high retention supporting this growth and only want people who have the potential to commit with us for at least five years. Can be full-time or part-time.

CommunityPlus is based out of Greater Victoria and provides home caregiving & nursing services across Vancouver Island. Saltspring to Sooke, Duncan to Nanaimo and beyond. We are locally owned and operated with over 60 exceptional caregivers, nurses and allied health professionals. BC's first and only private Living Wage home care provider.

- Starting wage $27 per hour plus annual increases and proficiency step-ups
