**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
As the Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our dining and beverage services, ensuring exemplary service delivery to our esteemed Members and Guests. Your key responsibilities include:

- Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of restaurant and bar staff to ensure Members and Guests receive prompt, courteous, and exemplary service.
- Staff Management: Assist in the recruitment, training, coaching, and disciplinary actions of Food and Beverage employees, adhering to RCYC policies and standards.
- Setting the Standard: Lead by example, fostering a positive culture of professionalism, teamwork, and personal development among staff.
- Budgetary Management: Manage labor costs within the parameters set by the Food and Beverage department's budgetary requirements.
- Business Forecasting: Accurately forecast business levels and service requirements to ensure adequate staffing levels aligned with business demands.
- Administrative Duties: Oversee administrative tasks including payroll, invoicing, chit input, and staff scheduling to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintaining Standards: Enforce club standards in hygiene, uniforms, personal appearance, and service to uphold the RCYC's reputation for excellence.
- Adaptability: Be prepared to undertake any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by the Club to support overall operational efficiency.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position within Hospitality (hotels or private clubs).
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
- Solution-oriented approach to customer service issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Smart Serve certification.

**HOURS OF WORK**:

- Must be able to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays as well as various shifts (days & evenings)
- Able to work at both RCYC locations (141 St. George & on the Island
- launch at 150 Cherry St)
