Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a safe work environment. You will work closely with management and employees to develop and implement safety policies and procedures. Duties: - Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations - Develop and implement safety training programs for employees, including new hire orientation and ongoing training sessions - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions - Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities - Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills as necessary - Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices - Assist in the development of safety policies, procedures, and manuals - Conduct safety audits to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations Skills: - Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to effectively train employees on safety procedures - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to analyze data and identify trends or areas for improvement - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Experience in fabricating or manufacturing environments is a plus This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
