Business Solutions Specialist

**Position Overview**
The Business Solutions Specialist supports and contributes to an excellent member and employee experience by managing and prioritizing multiple projects and by providing a range of support to different operational processes to ultimately ensure a smooth user experience to external and internal members with Gulf & Fraser’s banking and related systems. The incumbent uses proactive teamwork and collaboration to test and implement system upgrades and features and works with key stakeholders to improve internal procedures to gain efficiencies and to ensure ongoing user satisfaction with both Gulf & Fraser employees and members..
**Accountabilities**
Operational Support
- Engages in a variety of organizational and operational support for branches and administration office.
- Prepares and distributes internal communications pertaining to internal operations.
- Sets up and modifies employee system access.
- Creates and maintains relevant forms.
- Creates and maintains a variety of policy and procedure documentation related to Business Solutions.

Project Management &Implementation
- Works with third party vendors and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Performs quality assurance testing to ensure all inter-related systems are functioning properly
- Prioritizes multiple projects and tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Provides project progress updates to Business Solutions Manager and other key stakeholders
- Works with key stakeholders such as Communications and Training to ensure staff and members are well information of project delivery.

Collaboration & Teamwork
- Develops and manages relationships with external resources and vendors.
- Works with key stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Collaborates and builds partnerships with Business Solutions team members as well as partner departments for timely support and process efficiencies.
- Provides guidance and mentorship to other employees and team members as appropriate.

System Management and Process Improvement
- Reviews, tests and implements banking and other system upgrades.
- Implements new features within systems (i.e. banking system, online banking) to improve member and employee experience.
- Works proactively with the Business Solutions team and other key stakeholders to improve existing operational processes to gain efficiencies.
- Performs system audits to ensure employee access aligns with their role as appropriate, and exceptions are rationalized and documented.

**Requirements**:

Post-secondary business degree or diploma
- 3-4 years related experience
- Previous experience utilizing banking systems is a strong asset
- Equivalent combination of the above may be appropriate
