**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Reporting directly to the Vice-President, Digital and Brand Marketing, the Associate Director, Brand and Communications will support the strategic development, brand positioning and execution of CHS’ national brand marketing and communication strategy. This role will support the development of CHS’ national and global brand positioning, create the communications strategy, and lead the execution of the brand expansion strategy.

The Associate Director, Brand and Communications will be accountable for the development, delivery and measurement of all brand marketing and communications campaigns, leveraging earned, owned and paid channels. This will include social media, events and sponsorship, corporate communications, media and public relations. This role will also lead the Creative Services Team to develop multi-media content that brings CHS’ brand vision to life and supports the growth of both our for-profit and not-for-profit business.

The role understands the unique needs of CHS clients from Deaf and hard of hearing communities. **What You Will Do**
- Brand champion: Support building and maintaining consistent brand messaging and directly manage communications activities that promote, enhance and protect the organizations brand purpose across multiple channels including:

- Internal brand communications: Oversight of brand guidelines and printed brand material - e.g., PPTs, all brand collateral.
- External: Develop and implement strategies for social media, public relations, events, trade booths, and internal creative services.
- Brand Guidelines Development: Lead the creation of brand guidelines and a rollout plan. Ensure that brand marketing initiatives and campaigns consistently align with CHS brand essence, standards, vision, and mission.
- Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Ensure that public relations efforts serve immediate and long-term business goals and supports comprehensive marketing campaigns by overseeing and developing the creation of diverse content, including print and digital ads, videos, blog articles, brochures, eBooks, newsletters, press releases and media articles.
- Social Media Strategy Development: Take the lead in creating a social media strategy, demonstrating a high level of knowledge in digital best practices and platforms using various social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) and analytic tools to measure effectiveness.
- Lead the development of media communications, press releases, Q&As, key messages, backgrounders, bios, preparatory notes/binders and issue notes, as well as executive presentations, statements and other communications.
- Oversee the preparation of a variety of media monitoring reports for company distribution. Provide key media insights to support the business.
- Employee Experience and Value Proposition: Utilize creative and communication tools to reinforce the CHS company culture. Emphasize the brand purpose and bring the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to life.
- Events Strategy: Develop and execute event brand strategies to optimize brand awareness and client engagement. This includes the development of marketing materials, booth branding, and promotional materials.
- On-Location Branding: Create and oversee the branding approach and assets for Hearing Clinics.
- Creative Services Management: Oversee the creative request intake process, ensuring timely and on-budget project delivery while maintaining brand consistency.
