The National Repair Centre Supervisor is responsible for managing the service staff and acting as a technical liaison between various service, sales and management staff members.

**Major Duties**:

- Ensure that all manufacturer's specifications, federal/provincial laws and regulations related to the repair, relocation, modification, upgrade or calibration of equipment are followed by the technicians. Provide complete manufacturing documentation for these devices to the appropriate parties.
- Identify the parts and tools needed to meet the department's needs.
- Plan and organize technical training courses for his/her team of technicians.
- Ensure that all technicians communicate their needs or those of clients on a regular basis.
- Ensure that the response time for a repair is within established standards.
- Promote and share merchandise or equipment sales opportunities with representatives on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure follow-up of repairs with the manufacturer.
- Responsible for the department's budget and control of expenses.
- Staff management, hiring and training.
- Other duties as assigned or requested.

**Job qualifications**:

- Possess a college diploma in electronics and/or administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Have more than 5 years experience as a technician, preferably in the dental field.
- Excellent ability to lead with versatility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and priority management skills.
- Excellent attention to details.

Le superviseur du Centre national de réparation est appelé à gérer le personnel de service et à assurer la liaison technique entre les différents membres du personnel de service, des ventes et de la direction.

**Fonctions essentielles**:

- S'assurer que les techniciens respectent toutes les spécifications du fabricant, les lois et règlements fédéraux et provinciaux relatifs à la réparation, au déplacement, à la modification, à la mise à niveau ou à l'étalonnage de l'équipement. Fournir une documentation complète sur la fabrication de ces dispositifs aux parties concernées.
- Déterminer les pièces et les outils nécessaires pour répondre aux besoins du département.
- Planifier et organiser des cours de formation technique pour son équipe de techniciens.
- Veiller à ce que tous les techniciens communiquent régulièrement leurs besoins ou ceux des clients.
- Veiller à ce que le temps de réponse pour une réparation soit conforme aux normes établies.
- Promouvoir et partager les occasions de vente de marchandises ou d'équipement avec les représentants de façon régulière.
- Assurer le suivi des réparations auprès du fabricant.
- Responsable du budget du département et du contrôle des dépenses.
- Gestion, recrutement et formation du personnel.
- Autres tâches telles qu'assignées ou demandées.

**Formation et compétences**:

- Détenir un diplôme d'études collégiales en électronique et/ou en administration, ou une combinaison équivalente d’études et d'expérience.
- Posséder plus de 5 ans d'expérience en tant que technicien, de préférence dans le domaine dentaire.
- Excellente capacité à diriger avec polyvalence.
- Solides compétences en communication et en développement des relations interpersonnelles.
- Excellentes capacités d'analyse et de gestion des priorités.
- Excellent souci du détail.
