As an Accounting Clerk, you will report to the Office Manager and be responsible for supporting the accounting operation, ensuring the stability of financial services and the status of our organization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reporting
- Monthly reconciliation of visa/ master card statement, Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts; Prepare and submit monthly payments for WSIB, HST, and Corporate Taxes
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and recording of transactions. Performing daily Accounts Payable functions including vendor invoice verification/ auditing and filing
- Processing daily Accounts Receivable functions including posting daily payment receipts (Credit Cards) into the system in corresponding accounts. Sending out invoices to customers daily and sending out statements at month’s end. Collections.
- Reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Accurately input financial data into NetSuite and Excel spreadsheets.
- Preparation of journal entries and maintaining proper documentation.
- Maintain an organized electronic filing system for financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and statements.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing requested documentation and assisting with audit inquiries.
- Monitor and manage company inventory levels by tracking physical and recorded quantities.
- Processing vendor payments via EFT, ACH, and printed cheques and answering queries from vendors.
- Setup new Vendor accounts in the system

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in NetSuite
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent organizational, and time management skills.
- Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance within Ontario

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
