**Hourly**: $22.70/hr

Full Time Seasonal Schedule

**Start**:December
- March 16th

**Hours**: must be available for overnight shifts

The Supervisor, Slope Maintenance with the direction of the Assistant Manager; Slope, Terrain and Trails, will lead a dedicated group of staff on working various schedules 24 hours a day during the winter months. Working along side other departments, grooming and snowmaking, the incumbent will ensuring the resort trails are safe for the guest, with setup of Ribbons, Fences, Padding, Tree Trimming and Drainage.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Schedule and set day-to-day objectives for team focused on operational targets and service standards.
- Assist the front line staff with setup of ribbons, fences, padding, tree trimming and drainage, with use of a snowmobile
- Works with other division Leaders to develop, facilitate and track departmental training programs
- In collaboration with Manager of Slope, Terrain & Trails, the supervisor will create and update departmental SOPs (ie. Health & Safety, Equipment Operation etc.)
- Manage performance of team, including meeting with team to resolve complaints, coaching through performance challenges, and conducting performance reviews.

**Education, Training & Experience**
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Ski Resort Operations
- Previous leadership experience, preferably a team of outdoor workers in a physically demanding role
- Must hold valid G class drivers' license with satisfactory driver's abstract
- Must have experience operating snowmobiles. Operation on steep slopes an asset.
- Strong understanding of general on-hill operations and safety standards, emergency procedures, etc.
- Ministry of Labour Chain Saw training required or willing to acquire
- Experience operating heavy equipment an asset
