The Slope Maintenance worker performs slope maintenance tasks in conjunction with multiple Mountain Operations Departments to provide our guests and staff with a hazard free and pleasurable mountain experience.

$17.70/hr

**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**
- Placement, positioning and upkeep of padding and fencing.
- Tree line trimming and removal of fallen trees or other hazardous items from trails.
- Respond to and document issues reported by Ski Patrol in an appropriate time frame.
- Communicate electrical issues in regards to night lighting and any other hazards to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain the general appearance of guest staging/gathering areas.
- Maintain snow levels around buildings, hill benches and waste receptacles.
- Responsible for removing and placing ski racks on nightly basis.
- Hand Cleaning of hills and rest areas.

**WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?**
- Must be able to operate a range of equipment from simple handheld tools to power tools
- Experience in minor maintenance and repair of equipment an asset
- Must be able to follow established procedures and takes responsibility for completing assigned tasks and to document
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must be safety conscious and wear required safety equipment when on the job
- Experience in slope maintenance an asset
- Experience in snowmobile operation an asset (internal training provided)
- Knowledge of Resort an asset
- Valid Class "G" Drivers Licence in good standing required
