**Job Description**:
**Salary**

$25.377- $27.488

**Schedule**

Days, Evenings, Weekends & Holidays

**Shift**

8 hrs / 5 hrs

**Expected Average Number of Hours**: 15-20 hours bi weekly ( not a guarantee of hours )

This position will work a variety of shifts, including weekends to perform a variety of clerical functions including answering phones, menu processing, staff scheduling and completion of payroll information. This position requires excellent customer service skills and deals with people on a consistent basis. The physical demands of the role may include but are not limited to prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. This position contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of secondary school required
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology required
- Recent experience as a Clerk in a fast paced environment required
- Previous experience in a hospital environment an asset
- Must have working knowledge of Med Dietary software, CBord and Acute Care therapeutic diets
- Must have working knowledge of staff scheduling/payroll module and OE required.
- Knowledgeable and efficient with Meditech computer system required
- Excellent keyboarding skills required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required
- The successful external applicant is required to provide the applicable criminal record check, as requested by Human Resources, in accordance with federal and provincial legislation. Valid criminal record checks are in original format and dated with two months from date of conditional offer from CMH._
