**Job Title - Social Media Coordinator - Full Time**
United Sport & Cycle’s Marketing Team is seeking a Full-Time **Social Media Coordinator** who is passionate about their career and sports too
This person reports directly to the Marketing & Website Manager and will have the support of a graphic designer, a content writer, a photographer, and videographer.
As a member of the Marketing team, the Social Media Coordinator is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating the success of social campaigns. United has a strong, developing following on social media, and we’re looking for an individual to help grow our channels. You will also be directly responsible for helping the team plan to launch campaigns on-target and on-time.
The day-to-day work involves maintaining an ongoing calendar of posts and events in coordination with store and online activities. We see this role being active during events to support planning and photography. The coordinator also will post all content, respond to customers, and provide reporting on the success of social media efforts.
**Who YOU are**:
- An excellent communicator able to relate a passion for a variety of seasonal sport activities, community events and other business priorities.
- Possess experience posting content to social channels and interacting with customers online in a professional and courteous manner representing the values of the organization.
- Able to develop and maintain an ongoing calendar of social posts across the variety of channels in which United is represented.
- Excited to assist with in-store, offsite or online event coordination and photography and can collaborate with various departments within the United team.
- Willing to provide ongoing reporting on the growth and performance of social channels.
- A support in the planning and evaluation of social media advertising involving boosted post, video, and other promoted content strategies.
- Able to work within a dynamic team atmosphere collaborating to develop ideas for social content and paid advertising strategy/creation.
- You possess a Diploma in marketing, public relations and/or advertising from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- You have 1 - 3 years’ related experience in operating business social media accounts.
- You have a passion for sports and/or bikes - riding, playing or being a super fan
- You are looking to be a key member of a team; not just a ‘job’
