**Maynard Nursing Home located in Toronto is hoping to hire a Screener/Covid Tester to join their Village team**

PT and FT hours available

Shifts are 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm, every other weekend is required

**As a new Care Partner joining our Village, you will**:
Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents and team. Our Care Partners at Schlegel Villages perform a variety of tasks to support our residents and village operations in a number of departments including laundry services, housekeeping, maintenance, cooks and chefs as well as servers and food service aides and our administration team as well as screening Team Members and visitors to our villages.

Our Team create exceptional customer experiences while acting as the first point of contact for incoming queries, managing screening supplies, creating documents for fellow team members, and supporting other members of the administrative team.

Our Administrative team foster exemplary relationships with residents, their families and the Village team and support the efforts of the Village to provide holistic care to our residents.

**To be successful as our new Care Partner, you will**:

- Be committed to following task procedures when completing all assigned tasks
- Handle residents’ personal items, Village supplies and equipment with care and respect
- Respects the rights and dignity of all residents, families, team members and visitors to the Village and addresses any requests with professionalism and care
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrate thorough attention to detail and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and other computer programs
- Be excited by our objectives, our Village philosophy and the family values that shape all aspects of life in a Schlegel Village
- Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
- Be knowledgeable in Infection Control practices
- Perform screening and testing for Covid-19

**It would be an asset if our new Care Partner, Screener/Covid Tester has**:

- Previous experience working in the context of a Long-Term Care or Retirement Home
