**About **-Atia Counselling Group

Atia Counselling Group (ACG) is located in Markham. We provide a positive and caring work environment that enables you, as the therapist, to support and empower clients facing mental health challenges.

**If you are** an experienced therapist with at least five years in private practice providing couples counselling using the EFT/Gottman approach, we'd love for you to join our growing practice here in Markham This is an **in-person position** with some virtual work.

**We Require**:

- Master's degree in Counselling Psychology/Psychotherapy/Social Work and registration with CRPO (Full or Qualifying) or OCSWSSW (RSW).
- Available to work: A minimum of 5 direct client hours per day for 3 shifts per week (approximately 15 hours/week) with the option for more
- Professional and ethical practice following all OCSWSSW or CRPOrequirements
- Maintenance of own client files and required documentation (e.g., notes) following the clinic procedures
- Proof of Liability Insurance as required by the College
- **Work weekday evenings and weekends.** Providing day shift hours is a bonus.

**Our Ideal Associate**:

- Dynamic, self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently, proactively and well under pressure
- Strong communication skills, ability to communicate professionally and with compassion to clients with patience when dealing with challenging clients
- Juggling multiple projects and to-do’s simultaneously is no problem for you — you work well under pressure, meet deadlines and keep promises
- Tech savvy (we provide virtual counselling as well)
- Working autonomously comes easy to you, but you also love collaborating with a talented team
- Considerable experience using Google Drive Suite, Gmail, Mac, Windows in a work environment
- Knowledge of OWL practice management scheduling software is an asset but not mandatory

**Bonus if You**:

- Able to provide individual counselling
- Fluency in another language
- EMDR, ART, or Somatic Reprocessing training/certification
- Training in Internal Family Systems, Dialectical BehaviouralTherapy, or Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
