**Coordinator of Clinical Services**
- **Purpose of Position**_

Under the direction of the Divisional Principal of Learning and Inclusion, the Coordinator of Clinical Services is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Clinical Services team.
- **Key Responsibilities**_
- Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: _
- Understands and adheres to requirements of the Personal Health Information Act (PHIA) and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) as they relate to the management and protection of divisional staff, student and family information.
- Provides accurate and timely information and updates as needed.
- Provides leadership to school clinicians ensuring alignment with the Division Mission, Vision and Values including the Service Delivery model.
- Coordinates, allocates and monitors the workload of clinical services staff, Assistive Technology EA’s including the Audiometric Technician according to divisional priorities and school-based need(s).
- Provides leadership and direction to the Divisional Clinical Services staff and support staff.
- Ensures the creation and delivery of divisional and/or school-based professional development opportunities are aligned with divisional priorities.
- Develops and manages delegated budget responsibilities.
- Coordinates and manages provincial grants as delegated.
- Directs and evaluates the work of all assigned staff.
- Ensures compliance with the collective agreement and resolves related complaints and concerns.
- Resolves disputes informally and/or formally as required.
- Coordinates and provides leadership in student attendance initiatives in conjunction with the Divisional Principal of Learning and Inclusion.
- Provides leadership and oversight to the Threat Assessment process.
- In collaboration with others, liaises with outside agencies to support student attendance practices.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned to support the efficient operation of the Department.
- **Skills and Qualifications**_

Skill and Knowledge - Required:

- Valid Manitoba teaching certificate and/or School Clinician certificate.
- Post Baccalaureate Certificate or Master’s degree in Inclusive Education or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of specialized assessments and practices in all clinical, school-based disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of current and best practices in supporting students with additional needs.
- Strong understanding of PHIA and FIPPA.
- Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities and identify, implement and monitor plans of action.
- Demonstrated ability with data-informed decision-making.
- Demonstrated leadership in change management.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy when dealing with confidential information.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Threat/Risk Assessments and in Manitoba Pupil File Guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively with Divisional and school employees, parents, students, corporate and government partners, and community members.
