**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Director, Health Services, and in collaboration with other members of the Clinical Support Services Department (Quality and Patient Safety, Patient Relations Office, Policy/Procedures/Nursing Policies/Procedures, Coordinator Emergency Measures and Clinical Initiatives), the CLINICAL SUPPORT SERVICES COORDINATOR supports quality improvement and safety across the Department and Site. This role has direct responsibilities for coordinating program activities including: preparation of annual and monthly schedules and reports, communication; compiling, maintaining and processing Program statistical information; and providing assistance to the program (organizing schedules and other materials, typing various materials and entering data, organizing and maintaining efficient filing and other program support), and performing other duties as assigned by the Director, Health Services.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of three years’ experience in a health care setting/health information services is required.

**Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)**:

- Baccalaureate Degree in a health-related discipline preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Medical terminology is an asset.

**Certification/Licensure/Registration**:

- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Experience in spreadsheets, databases and computer systems are required.
- Must be able to work independently and demonstrate the ability to put conceptual ideas into practice.
- Demonstrated ability to understand processes, particularly in complex systems.
- Must possess excellent analytical skills, problem solving abilities, as well as oral and written communication skills, judgment and interpersonal skills.
- Integrity, dependability, honesty, initiative, tact and high ethical standards are required.
