**Overview**:
The University Medical Group, Department of Surgery leads the coordination of surgeries for the province of Manitoba. We are a dedicated team of health care professionals whose goal is to provide the best overall care and experience for patients.

We are seeking a Clinical Systems Coordinator to join our team - we offer a dynamic, challenging and team-oriented work environment with a competitive salary and benefits package.

**Responsibilities**:
In collaboration with the Operations manager, the incumbent will organize the implementation and rollout of clinical systems throughout the department and troubleshoot computer and system issues; manage system user groups and act as liaison between the department and Digital Shared Services.
- Provide daily support for all clinical systems and Departmental software, equipment.
- Provide orientation, training and guidance to users on software and computer equipment.
- Testing and performance review of new information systems, technologies and software enhancements.
- Complete all user/ office configuration in Accuro EMR as needed with QHR.
- Developing and maintaining the Departmental database with regards to systems, hardware and software
- Participates in regular meetings with management team to facilitate communication of information, issues and challenges.
- Maintain computer database tracking, ordering computers, for new staff.
- Special projects as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
EDUCATION:

- Completion of Grade XII.
- A recognized post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree in a health care or IT related discipline.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

EXPERIENCE:

- A minimum of two years of experience working within a health care setting as an end-user of electronic health record systems including EPR, PART/SWIM, Accuro, PACS, eChart, Entrada and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Extensive computer experience on a variety of software and operating systems.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Situated in a normal office environment with daily exposure to hospital and clinics and periodic patient contact
- Overtime as required and irregular hours periodically as required for meetings and/or special projects

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Experience working with hospital/clinical patient information system (Accuro/EPR) or other computerized scheduling systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Hospital computer hardware and software systems.
- Advanced knowledge of current Windows operating systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated workload organization, prioritization, teamwork/collaboration and analytical skills.
- Accountability to leadership stakeholders on deliverables.

**Additional Information**:
Pay: $32.96-$41.05 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
