Inside Sales Rep, National Sales - Sales - National

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Sales Director and working in conjunction with the Account Manager, you will be responsible for preparing, booking and confirming network bookings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the main point of contact for all day to day transactional business involving the agency buying community. This will include the selling and maintenance of existing campaigns
- Develop, negotiate and book on air transactional media campaigns, based on specific AOR/agency requirements, under the guidance of the Sales Manager, and with input from Account Manager
- Replace NA’s for conventional & specialty bookings
- As appropriate and when workload allows, accompany the Account Manager on agency visits involving programming updates, entertainment opportunities and various other meetings that will strengthen relationships with the agency buying community
- Maintain visibility on inventory to monitor for oversells, spoilage opportunities and sell out of key properties
- Accuracy and accountability that contribute to financial success and to ensure future business
- Develop relationships with buyers to learn their business and communication needs
- Identify opportunities to up sell the agency buyer on requested share, list of Corus networks, program sponsorships, and tent-pole events
- Renegotiate conventional program changes, seasonally
- Maintain an awareness of station performance based on AMA/rating
- Maintain accurate files so that changes/revisions to any contract can be easily tracked to the original

About You

**What We Need From You**:

- Post-Secondary Education
- 3-5 years advertising agency or broadcast sales experience preferred
