The coordinator position will support the overall work of the foundation. This is a multi-faceted position that requires generalist skills, with an eye for detail. While this position will have some dedicated responsibilities, the coordinator will be expected to move across teams to provide administrative and support functions as needed.

**Essential Functions**:

- Be responsible for the foundation's daily administrative work such as preparing, receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence, documents, brochures, and any other related materials.
- Receive internal and external inquiries related to the foundation work and redirect and/or corresponds directly as appropriate.
- Works across the foundation to support departmental meetings and special events, including meeting scheduling and confirmation, preparation, logistics, catering, minutes, and record management as needed.
- Liaise with external organizations or individuals to schedule meetings and appointments, and arrange travel schedules and accommodations for directors or guests.
- Work with communities to provide administrative support in community listening initiatives to ensure the events are well organized and recorded.
- Participate in collecting and compiling data and information in the foundation's community projects.
- Assist directors in preparing or editing written and verbal reports and presentations for Donors, fundholders and other relevant community stakeholders.
- Manage office supplies, brochures and publications, and maintain inventory to ensure the foundation's smooth operations.
- Establish, update and maintain the foundation's electronic file/data management system to ensure the security, confidentiality and consistency of the data.
- Supports management team with special projects as they arise.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of secondary school is required and a college diploma in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Work experience in providing administrative support for major projects/programs is preferred
- Language: English is required.
- Knowledge of another culture and language including Canadian aboriginal culture and language is a great asset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in communicating verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse communities at various levels.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour
