**Position Summary**:
The Hospital is seeking to hire a Project Coordinator who is a decisive, self-motivated team player. Responsibilities will include coordinating activities for Capital projects, maintaining various logs and Matrix related to the CRP project and to assist with the Capital Redevelopment Project on daily construction activities and undertake minor projects when required.

The Project Coordinator (PC) is an integral part of the CRP team, organizing and controlling project service shutdown activities, under the direction of the Project Managers while continuously coordinating with and obtaining approvals for service shutdowns from the Facility Manager. Responsibilities will vary from coordinating multiple project service shutdown activities, to updating filing systems and ensuring project documentation is current, to minimizing Hospital operational impacts, and implementing new processes to better assist the Capital Redevelopment team with deliverables. This individual must be adaptable, able to prioritize workload and have effective verbal and written communication skills to support the Capital Redevelopment Team in effectively managing service shutdowns and able to work closely with Capital Redevelopment Office (CRO) team members.

The position will also assume administrative functions within the department providing diversified and project-level administrative support to the Capital Redevelopment Team.

**Duties will include, but are not limited to**:

- Liaise and work with the departmental staff providing support, contribution to projects, reports and data collection.
- Complete accurate record keeping of contract documentation (CCNs, COs, SIs, RFIs, etc.) and project schedules.
- Assist the Manager of Planning and Redevelopment with planning coordination as needed, and other projects/tasks as requested.
- Assisting the Senior Director with tracking various aspects of reporting.
- Coordinating the receipt and distribution of information and correspondence for the department and the Capital Redevelopment Project.
- Help prepare and/or summarize, reports and preparing background materials by compiling and analyzing information
- Preparation of records such as agenda, minutes, and resolutions for departmental and Committee meetings.
- Composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents.
- Creates and maintains reports and excel spreadsheet files.
- Participates in project management initiatives, including main point of contact for capital project documentation, assists in establishing timelines and monitoring progress.
- Helps assist internal moves, shut downs, signage and corporate communication, generating work orders, Purchase Requisitions;
- Issues internal communication to CMH departments on various CRP project activities.
- Organizes the infection control and prevention training for all construction projects.
- Process purchase requisitions for capital redevelopment projects and tracks expenses.
- Supports and where appropriate, leads the development of corporate communication utilizing the intranet and internet, Meditech and Electronic Signage as the vehicle for its dissemination.
- Word processing, data entry, filing and photocopying of general and confidential documentation.
