**Position Summary**

The Strategic Sales and Business Development Manager will report to the CEO, and be primarily responsible to create and implement strategies to develop new and existing business opportunities to achieve company’s targets, as well as liaison with our Head Quarters and external office to manage legal revision of Commercial documents and Patents for Tenova Goodfellow Inc (TGI).

This technical expert can interpret and execute legal proposals and documents, as well as represent the company at industry conferences and tradeshows.

**Responsibilities**

Business Development
- Develop and implement both short
- and long-term tactical and strategic roadmap/business plans in accordance with business goals and objectives
- Identify and develop new markets and opportunities
- Meet financial targets for sales, growth and profitability
- Provide leadership for strategic business development and corporate planning issues on major business decisions
- Translate strategic goals into practical actions
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers in order to develop new business opportunities
- Mange and lead directly sales strategies and business opportunities
- Development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
- Translate technical ideas in viable commercial opportunities

Technical Knowledge
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
- Write technical papers and present to international trade and show

Marketing/ Events
- Direct development of both existing and new client relationships through targeted prospecting and sales programs including digital marketing activities to acquire new customers and sales channels
- Travel and attendance at various industry and networking events
- Drive revenue by delivering compelling presentations and delivery of information to new and existing customers
- Oversee the development and supervision of all marketing strategies

Collaboration
- Collaborate with diverse teams such as Operations and Project Managers to ensure project efficiency and profitability
- Actively collaborate as part of the leadership management team of TGI, leading to increased innovation, efficient processes, improved communication and overall increased success of the organization

Legal
- Manage patents, copyright, trademarks and licensing of intellectual property
- Draft and amend commercial agreements and other legal contracts to ensure the company’s full legal rights and proper protection in line with the HQ risk management guidelines
- Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
- Identify and evaluate risks and liabilities to the company, both internal and external
- Manage patents and TM in collaboration with HQ and patent lawyers
- Legal review of Contracts; NDA; T&C; agreements
- Negotiate contract and T&C with customers, suppliers, and partners

Position Specific Abilities
- Minimum University Degree in Engineering
- Experience working in the Steel/ Metallurgy Industry
- 8+ years related experience
- Results-driven mentality, with a propensity for speed and action
- Exceptional communication skills, highly organized, collaborative and detail oriented
- Experience building and maintaining relationships
- Entrepreneurial spirit and high-energy
- Solid sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement
- Successful history of net new business sales
- Experience drafting/ analyzing legal documents and commercial proposals
- Willingness to travel
- Since travelling is an essential job duty for this role, the employee must be able to travel to any location where our customers are located.
