**The Opportunity - Product Marketing Intern**:
In this role, you will be a key member of the Product Marketing team and a key player in the way we understand and speak to our customers.

Reporting to the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will contribute to Marketing and Sales Enablement. This involves uncovering insights about our key customer segments through qualitative and quantitative research and transforming these insights into tools for Marketing and Sales team to use.

In this role, you will learn the foundation of uncovering key customer pain points, creating meaningful value propositions and internal marketing tools. You will also get experience communicating and collaborating cross functionally, presenting research, and go-to-market.

NOTE: This role can be worked** remotely** from the above location.

**What You'll Do as a Product Marketing Intern**
- Leverage data to identify ideal customer profile for FreshBooks
- Research and analyze customer cluster profile workflows to understand pain points
- Develop value propositions for specific customer groups
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Support, and Product teams to validate pain points and value proposition

**What You'll Bring to the Role**
- Strong understanding of the importance of internal communication strategy and are excited by the potential to be creative and innovate the plan for FreshBooks.
- Have shown success executing communication and/or marketing projects.
- Experience communicating a company's or product's unique value proposition to potential customers, partners and market influencers. What we mean here is marketing experience.
- Experience designing and building marketing assets.
- You excel in a fast-paced, collaborative, entrepreneurial, results-driven environment.
- You are organized, enthusiastic, and excited to learn.

**You'll Stand Out If You Bring Experience In**
- 1 prior term of an internship or co-op experience
- Post-secondary education, with a focus on marketing, communications or business.
