Clifton House, a division of The Brenda Strafford Foundation, is looking for the next great addition to the BSF team

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for facility preventative maintenance program initiatives, coordination of upgrades and repairs, and all required building maintenance and repairs.

The Maintenance Lead collaborates within the multi-disciplinary team reporting to the Executive Director. Some of the primary responsibilities include overseeing maintenance operations and provide leadership to the facility maintenance department, including scheduling of facility maintenance staff, developing on-call schedules and supervising the maintenance staff in their daily routines, overseeing regular maintenance duties and preventative maintenance program, Coordinate maintenance projects with outside contractors and vendors, disposing of and handling hazardous materials according to WHMIS and department policies and guidelines, performing general repairs involving building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, window and floor repairs etc., completing minor carpentry and renovation projects, performing scheduled maintenance based on weekly, monthly and yearly preventatives maintenance programs, checking maintenance care program regularly for tasks and follow through and assisting with furniture/resident moves.

**This is a Permanent Full-time position**

**Required Experience and Education**:

- 5th Class Power Engineer, or Building Operator “B” a requirement
- At least three (3) years directly related experience.
- At least three (3) years supervisory experience in Health Care.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care is an asset.
