**Position Summary and Scope of Service**

Reporting to the Manager, French Language and Administrative Support Services and consistent with the Mission, Values and policies of St.Amant, the Supervisor, Reception Services is a critical role in ensuring the success of St.Amant business and operations.

Exemplifying the mission, vision and values of St.Amant, the Supervisor, Reception Services works collaboratively with partnered programs while offering employees respectful customer service.

The Supervisor, Reception Services is responsible for providing overall consultation and support related to day-to-day administrative functions that cross programs and services in both official languages and are carried out by the reception team.
The Supervisor, Reception Services is responsible for the supervision of the Reception team, coordinates and oversees the work of employees within the team and works cooperatively with staff within the team and Corporate Services.

The Supervisor, Reception Services participates in the continuous quality improvement activities, including the development, modification and implementation of service goals, objectives, policies and procedures, and standards relevant to administrative support activities carried out by the reception team. They use service evaluation feedback to purposefully and continually strengthen reception services that will contribute to positive and beneficial outcomes for St.Amant program(s).

The Supervisor, Reception Services performs all duties professionally, ethically and with integrity. They take personal responsibility for, and actively pursues, continuous learning and professional development through participation in internal and external continuing education opportunities.

The Supervisor, Reception Services is familiar with information and policy, issues, trends, practices or opportunities which may improve services, and adheres to all policies related to risk management and those of workplace activity, promotes and follows all relevant, safe, healthy and respectful workplace practices and policies.

**Qualifications**

Educational:

- Grade XII diploma or certificate
- Successful completion of a recognized Administrative Assistant or Secretarial training program (other suitable combinations of education and experience may be considered)
- Supervisory skills/training is an asset

Professional:

- Minimum three years of experience in a reception/administrative capacity or minimum of two years of supervisory experience
- Demonstrated customer service focus and ability to communicate effectively with others (both internally and externally) in a respectful and professional manner
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to coach and support effective performance in others
- Knowledge of continuous quality improvement approach to work activities and processes
- Ability to develop and use filing/tracking systems effectively, logically, and consistently with program and corporate protocols
- Skilled in the use of other office equipment such as fax, photocopier, scanners, Neopost machine, etc.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation in relation to PHIA, FIPPA, Emergency codes and related organizational or program policies is an asset
- Problem solving / Conflict Resolution training is an asset
- Familiarity with relevant policies and Collective Agreements are an asset

- Ability to work with mínimal supervision as well as a collaborative team player in a team environment
