Clinical Support Specialist Role
BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to join our team.
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to provide administrative support to our team. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for transcribing medical dictation, processing referrals, and maintaining client charts.
- Responsibilities:
- Transcribe medical dictation, including correspondence and reports, according to pre-set format and protocols
- Process referrals and enter client data into computer systems and databases
- Maintain client charts, including receiving documentation, creating clinical records, and ensuring materials are labeled with patient information
- Coordinate and prepare client charts for off-site storage
You Bring
We are looking for a candidate with a Grade 12 diploma and recent experience in medical transcription. You should have excellent keyboarding skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
