**Duties**:
As a member of the IMIT Sector’s senior management team, your role will be to provide executive and operational leadership and strategic direction to the Centre’s IT infrastructure services and systems. The Manager will be responsible for:

- Overseeing multi-disciplinary staff, and driving the long-term plans and strategies relating to development, operationalization, monitoring and support of the Centre’s Operations, IT infrastructure services and systems.
- The provision of excellent IM/IT Help Desk client services, as well as Cyber Security, technical security services and cyber response capability, to support the needs of Centre clients and stakeholders
- Ensuring alignment between the Agency’s IT operational strategic direction, government policies and Centre modernization objectives.
- Managing the unit’s human, financial and materiel resources with probity and transparency, establishing a work environment that is reflective of Public Service and Centre values in areas of equity, diversity and inclusion, while also promoting a culture of innovation, continuous learning/development and respect for others.

EDUCATION

Graduation from a two-year program of study from a recognized post-secondary institution (ex. college, university) with acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, information management or another specialty relevant to the position to be staffed.

EX1. Extensive* and recent** experience leading an organizational IT Security and/or IT CyberSecurity program, including IT security architecture, IT security strategies and plans, risk management and mitigation, IT security configuration, IT continuity planning, as well as IT security standards.
