As a Hydrovac Operator at Compass Hydrovac, you will play a crucial role in our operations, using the newest equipment and cutting-edge hydrovac and sewer flushing combo-vac technologies to safely and efficiently meet our clients' excavation and sewer flushing needs.

As a Hydrovac Operator, you will:

- **Maintain and Respect Equipment**: Keep the hydrovac machinery in top condition through regular maintenance and care, understanding that the tools of the trade are essential to our shared success.
- **Be Detailed Oriented**: Complete necessary administrative tasks with attention to detail, including logs, work orders, and inspections.

**What you bring to the table**:

- **Experience**: A minimum of 5 years of experience in hydrovac operations; Must hold a valid AZ or DZ license, with a minimum of 3 years DZ (or AZ) driving experience, and provide a clean CVOR driver's abstract.
- **Skillset**:You have a comprehensive understanding of hydrovac systems, excavation techniques, and working around major utilities.
- **Certifications**: Preference will be given to operators who have current certifications in First Aid, WHIMIS, Fall Arrest, Confined Spaces, although training will be provided if any of your certifications need to be refreshed/updated. Up to date Metrolinx PTS and CN/CP eRailSafe certificates would be highly favorable as well.
- **Physical Capabilities**: You're able to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting (up to 50 lb), standing, and working in various weather conditions.

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour
