**Company Overview**: Re-Source Disposal Inc. is a sewage and hydrovac slurry waste processing company dedicated to serving the construction and wastewater maintenance industry. We specialize in the handling and processing of sewage and hydrovac slurry waste streams, serving clients within the Southern Ontario corridor with a commitment to excellence and sustainability.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and telehandlers, and other machinery according to site specifications.
2. Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure safe operation and identify any maintenance needs.
3. Always follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
4. Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately, meeting project deadlines.
5. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities and ensure smooth project execution.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the equipment and surrounding area.
7. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs and machine maintenance/upkeep as needed.
8. Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other personnel on the job site.
9. Assist team members with other sewage and hydrovac slurry plant operations and site operations as required.
A. Assist in Site Preparation: Prepare facility by cleaning, clearing debris, and removing potential hazards.
B. Material Handling: Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as required.
C. Support Skilled technicians: Assist skilled technicians such as general manager, and foreman, by providing the necessary help as required or directed.
D. Assist with Tasks: Support various tasks as required by the foreman.
E. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
**Experience**:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
- Certification or training in heavy equipment operation: Preferred, not mandatory.
- Be punctual, reliable, and dependable.
- Strong knowledge of equipment safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Physical stamina and strength to operate heavy machinery and perform laborious tasks for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Valid Class G or Greater Driver's License: Mandatory.
Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
