Service Advisor

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers on the phone and in the Dealership promptly and courteously.
- Opening work orders with all pertinent customer and machine information.
- Ensure customer accounts are in good standing before dispatching the Technician to the job in the shop or field.
- Ensure constant contact between the Service Manager, Sales/Parts departments, and the customer.
- Identify service needs of customer vehicles based on historical service data.
- Ask the right questions to ensure the vehicle is serviced appropriately and diagnosed within the Warranty criteria set forth by Kubota Canada and other OEMs.
- Provide repair/maintenance recommendations when applicable.
- Review the customer's upcoming expired Warranty for service recommendations.
- Stay current with Kubota and other OEMs.' training requirements.
- Typed and prepared quotations, letters, and safety docs. Etc.
- Be creative, improve the process, and utilize our operating systems.

Qualifications:

- Two or more years of experience in repair or troubleshooting or parts with a track record of success, preferably in one of the following industries: agricultural equipment, motor vehicle industry, outdoor power equipment, recreational vehicles, construction equipment and machinery, small engines, and accessories.
- Must be proficient in parts lookup and servicing customers at the parts counter.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must have strong computer knowledge.
- Proficient with time management skills.
- Willingness to participate in and complete required training initiatives.

Essential Physical Requirements:

- The ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
- The ability to drive small and medium-sized equipment.
- The ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
- The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
- The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.

Compensation:
The compensation package for this position will be determined based on knowledge, skills, education, and experience. The package includes a base salary, plus commissions on sales, offered quarterly. In addition, after a three-month probationary period, employees will have access to a comprehensive benefits plan that includes life insurance.

The work hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 7:30-5:00 pm, at 45 Slack Road, Ottawa, Ontario, Location. Onsite parking is available.

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
