**JOB SUMMARY**:
**We have an opening for "Jack of All Trades" someone that has general knowledge and experience with Mechancial/Plumbing/Fabrication**
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Be a team member, lead by example, and maintain a positive work environment
- Be supportive team member, ready to assist other employees in a manufacturing/production environment
- Responsible for the assistance to maintain consistent quality of product and assist with assembly processes
- Daily Work reporting and maintenance on a daily basis
- Report any maintenance issues, perform if possible
- Maintain respect for all employees across all departments to create an efficient communication channel; share information and keep others informed
- Set a positive example by following regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and maintaining hazard awareness
- Involvement with product on shop floor / production
- Maintain a current knowledge of product, design and assembly techniques
- Assist with and support team projects and duties as required, being hands on is very important, being able to assist with any aspect of the project, mechanical, piping, plumbing, and fabrication.
**QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIFICATIONS**:
- **Abilities/Skills/Knowledge**_
- Effective organizational, prioritization and time management skills
- Ability to take initiative and follow through until completion
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationship with other team members
- **Education/Training**_
- Minimum High School Graduate or equivalent plus
- Courses in in Piping, plumbing, manufacturing all an asset but not required
- Manufacturing environment
- Mechanically inclined is a must
- Basic welding MIG or TIG an asset
- **Experience**_
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Manufacturing/Production environment (or equivalent combination of education, training & experience
- Forklift license an asset
- First aid an asset
**Responsibilities**:
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts and structures using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine the layout and assembly of metal components
- Perform basic math calculations to measure, cut, and shape materials accurately
- Operate machinery such as press brake machines and machining equipment to bend, shape, and cut metal pieces
- Use lifting equipment to move heavy materials or finished products
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and find solutions during the fabrication process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
