**The Opportunity**
This position is approximately 80% field work, and 20% office-based with travel across Alberta and across Western Canada.

**What you will do**
- Conduct field work, manage assigned projects and prepare technical environmental reports.
- Consult and support hazardous building material assessment projects.
- Monitoring during hazardous building material remediation projects.
- Mould assessment and remediation design.
- Air Quality Monitoring.
- Mould, Lead, and Asbestos Sampling.
- Prepare quotations and proposals for projects and bids.
- Participate in the company's National Safety Program.
- Train and obtain certifications to offer customers new services.
- Participate in marketing and business development activities/initiatives.
- Participate in customer training programs.
**What you will bring**
- A diploma in environmental, building sciences, industrial hygiene, or an environmental-related field is recommended.
- A minimum of one year experience in the environmental, safety, abatement, construction, insurance, or restoration industry.
- Experience in Asbestos, Hazmat, IAQ projects and field consulting is an asset.
- Certification in Water Damage Restoration, Fire Damage Restoration, and/ or Microbial Remediation is an asset.
- Demonstrated competency in the following areas: verbal and written communication, technical report writing, client relations, coordination and prioritization of workload, independent working, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- The position requires the individual to pass a respirator fit test.
- Must hold a valid drivers license and own a reliable vehicle.
- Travel and after-hours work is typically required on a call out basis.
