Must have minimum three years’ experience in commercial and institutional construction project management.

Work on Ontario and Federal government contracts an asset

**Position Description**:Collaborate with Engineers and Supervisors in planning, budgeting, allocating resources, and providing timely completion of the project. Ensure that the project is completed within the set budget and is within the scope. Additionally, ensures the project delivers the expected results and Plans all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.

**Responsibilities**

Manage all aspects of job from start to finish including negotiating with trades and suppliers

Obtain all necessary inspections and permits.

Order necessary supplies, tools, and equipment.

Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.

Communicate with clients and deliver project progress reports.

Develop and adhere to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.

Write and submits testing and inspection logs, quality assurance reports, and punch lists.

Ensures that all building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed.

Updates schedules, tracks progress, and documents project progression.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Project (or equivalent)

A strong knowledge of job site Health and Safety procedures and protocols

Ability to read and interpret drawings

Ability to navigate specifications and plans

Ability to handle multiple assignments at once

Knowledge of the latest building codes

Close attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Builds strong relationships with clients, contractors, and construction workers.

Excels at organization, time-management, problem-solving, and budgeting.

Strong math skills including algebra, geometry, and basic arithmetic

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

- Project management: 3 years (preferred)
