**Job Summary**
Reporting to the Marketing Director this position plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and success of our product strategy. The Hardgoods manager is responsible for creating and executing multi-year, annual and seasonal merchandising strategies that align with the company’s goal.
**Responsibilities**
- Requests and developing **new** item quotes and samples with vendor partners
- Calculates internal sell price of hard goods
- Review and approve catalogue costing
- Travels Internationally to identify new hard good opportunities and create new vendor partners
- Identifies new sales opportunities for hard goods discovered, as well as finds ways to grow existing customers
- Responsible for developing costs and ordering efficiencies to improve profitability
- Maintain sustainable and ethical sourcing practices with vendor partners
- Responsible for building FCL and LCL loads from vendor partners based on prebooks/projected demand
- Coordinating vendor deposits and final balance payments
- Coordinates ocean and in-land freight with freight forwarder
- Responsible for sending commercial documents to customs brokerage
- Update products in ERP with final costing and expected delivery dates
- Responsible for ensuring accurate receipt of newly developed items
- Responsible for accurate inventory utilizing pallet-storage technology
- Participating in Creative Team meetings Conduct regular audits of incoming goods to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline inventory control and storage processes.
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of all received goods, including quantities, descriptions, and storage locations.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment.
**Requirements**:
- University Degree or College Diploma in a related field.
- A creative, professional, self-motivated person constantly looking to implement best practices in all areas.
- Positive attitude, exceptional interpersonal communication skills (oral/written), and ability to quickly build rapport and negotiate.
- Understanding and passion for house plants/flowers would be an asset.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Ability to make decisions and work with mínimal supervision.
- Job can/will require international travel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/ Dynamics Nav

- 5-10 years of experience in the floral industry would be an asset.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
